Mobile Data Collection using ODK & KoboToolBox for Monitoring and Evaluation Course

Mobile Data Collection using ODK

Data collection and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) have always been a fundamental part of development work. Traditionally, these tasks were performed using paper and pen, which made them prone to errors, difficult to scale, and costly in terms of time and resources.

With the advent of ICT tools, such as mobile devices and software that enable users to create surveys, collect, manage, and upload data to storage systems in real-time, many of the challenges traditionally faced in remote data collection and M&E have been significantly reduced.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to collect, manage, and analyze project data using mobile devices, this training course is designed for you. The course also includes additional modules on M&E and GIS, which will help participants contextualize the skills learned. The GIS module will introduce participants to working with spatial data.
