The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Training equips participants with advanced life-saving skills to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies. This course covers essential techniques, including advanced airway management, ECG interpretation, pharmacological interventions, and team-based resuscitation, following international ACLS guidelines. Participants will engage in hands-on practical training to enhance their emergency response capabilities in various settings.

Course Objectives

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize and assess cardiac emergencies effectively.
  • Perform advanced airway management and ventilation techniques.
  • Interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs) and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
  • Administer appropriate pharmacological interventions for cardiac arrest and acute coronary syndromes.
  • Coordinate and execute team-based resuscitation protocols.
  • Understand legal and ethical considerations in advanced cardiac care.

  1. Introduction to ACLS – Importance, overview, and legal considerations.
  2. Basic Life Support (BLS) Review – CPR and AED use for healthcare providers.
  3. Airway Management – Advanced techniques, including intubation and ventilation.
  4. ECG Interpretation – Identifying and managing life-threatening arrhythmias.
  5. Pharmacology in ACLS – Drugs used in resuscitation and cardiac emergencies.
  6. Cardiac Arrest Management – Protocols for pulseless VT, VF, asystole, and PEA.
  7. Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS) and Stroke – Early recognition and management.
  8. Team Dynamics in Resuscitation – Effective communication and role coordination.
  9. Case-Based Simulations – Practical scenarios and real-life simulations.
